Discipline When Coparenting
Disciplining your child in two different homes can be one of the more contentious areas of a coparenting relationship. Coparents who see discipline differently often want to parent differently, and this can cause mixed messages for children in a variety of areas. From a conscious coparenting perspective, you ultimately want your child to know that both parents love him no matter what. Limits are set out of love and deep care of the child, not a punitive approach.
